The Virtual Torch Relay of the 2nd Asian Youth Games will be officially launched in Nanjing, (China), the host city on Wednesday and it will pass through all 45 countries and regions in Asia on its way to the Opening Ceremony on August 16.
The Virtual Torch Relay has been designed to reflect the online trends and social media networking skills of today's youth.
The OCA's 45 member National Olympic Committees are being encouraged to promote the relay when it stops off in their locale and involve youngsters in interactive games and other activities, with attractive prizes for the winners.

Wednesday marks the 100-day countdown to the Opening Ceremony, and the official lighting of the flame will be tied in with the launch of the online relay.
The ceremony will be hosted at the official website, www.Nanjing2013.Org.
The online relay will travel through 238 cities and scenic spots in Asia, China and Nanjing and will offer 12 languages to attract as many of Asia's youth as possible.
Yuan Yuan, the Games' mascot, will be the online torchbearer.
A more traditional torch relay involving 800 torchbearers will be held in mid-August with two 5km routes around the city to promote the 2nd AYG.
