The deceased's family has alleged that her organs were removed during the post-mortem to cover up the cause of death, allegations which the government hospital officials have refuted.
The girl's parents, Amritpal Kaur Loyal and Santokh Singh, residents of Birmingham in UK, have now written to the authorities concerned in India asking for the organs of their daughter that they may cremate her.
Jasvir Singh Gill, president of NRI Sabha, too, has written to medical college officials conveying to them the bereaved family's wish to complete their daughter's cremation.
