AAP leader Kumar Vishwas today launched a scathing attack on Narendra Modi-led BJP and the party's newest entrant Kiran Bedi, and claimed that only an AAP government could make Delhi corruption-free.

"The Centre has arrogance. And, we see the same in BJP's politicians during tv debates...I do agree that the Centre should be given time but in Delhi we need AAP," he claimed.

Vishwas was addressing a rally in east Delhi's Patparganj in support of fellow AAP leader Manish Sisodia, who today filed his nominations for the February 7 Delhi Assembly polls.

Hitting out at his former anti-graft comrade Bedi, Vishwas, reminding of her words during the anti-corruption campaign days, alleged that "when we (Vishwas and Sisodia) were receiving lathis during the 'Damini' protests, Bedi was busy tweeting."

"She had said that those parties, which won't fall under the purview of RTI, should not be given any votes, those party's which do not disclose their funds should not be given any votes, those with criminal background should not be given any votes, they why has she joined this party," Vishwas asked.

In a veiled attack on Modi, he said, "There was one prime minister who never spoke for 10 years and there is another now, who doesn't stop talking."

He said, "if Bedi will work for the passage of the Janlokpal Bill, then he would support her but if Kejriwal also fails to take up the Bill after forming the government then, he would protest against him (Kejriwal) at the Jantar Mantar".
