India's third full-service carrier Vistara will launch an air service on the Mumbai-Goa route from next month, which would take its total number of services to 243 weekly flights.
Initially the new flight, to be launched on July 15, would operate on weekends but from September 14 onwards it will become a daily service, Vistara said in a release.
A 51:49 joint venture between India's Tata Sons and Singapore Airlines, Vistara at present flies from ten domestic airports--Delhi, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bagdogra, Guwahati, Goa, Hyderabad, Lucknow, Mumbai and Pune with a fleet of six Airbus 320 planes.
