Retired bureaucrat Sahadev Sahoo and Nalco CMD Anshuman Das and Odisha Engineers Forum chairman Pravakar Swain honoured Dr Behera with the prestigious award which is the only award named after international fame engineer M Visveswaraya in the country and given by the Odisha Engineers' Forum every year.
Dr Behera after obtaining his degree in mechanical engineering went for entrepreneurship and is now credited for setting up at least 12 auto-component manufacturing units in the country and abroad, including one each in USA, Mexico and Belgium.
