Three from the University of Calcutta and three others from Jadavpur University have found a place in the 15-member East Zone squad to play in the Vizzy Trophy all-India inter-zonal varsity cricket tournament.
The tournament would be held at Sri Jayachamarajendra College of Engineering, Mysore, from February 11. East will take on North Zone from February 11-13.
The squad: Aditya Varma (CU), Kishalaya Chakraborty (Tripura), Deepak Kumar (Veer Kunwar Singh University), Pallav Das (JU), Prasenjit Nag (Kalyani), Arijit Banerjee (CU), Raghavendra Vishwakarma (Veer Bahadur Singh, Jaunpur (UP), Sourabh Das (Tripura), Ram Sarikh Yadav (V.B.S.), Joy Dutta (Benaras Hindu University), Akash Basu (JU), Rahul Kumar Singh (Deen Dayal Upadhyay , Gorakhpur), Sukanta Dey (Assam), Rishav Das (CU) and Nabyendu Ghosh (JU).
