The Vadodara Municipal Corporation (VMC) plans to make the 125 years old Sayaji Garden a tourist attraction, a senior civic official said here today.

Talking to PTI here today, Vadodara Municipal Commissioner Manish Bhardwaj said, "This garden will soon get a new hanging bridge which will include a spiral walkway as well as automated sensors to control its load bearing. The suspension bridge will span a distance of 80 metres and connect Kamatibaug garden and the zoo".

Three months ago, the VMC had created gymnasium facilities in the garden, as well as a 2 km long cycling stretch.
