Vodafone India today said within a short span of six years it has emerged as the third largest mobile network in Odisha circle, having invested over Rs 1,140 crore to expand network and broad-base its distribution reach.
"We are delighted to have completed six successful years in Odisha. In this short span, we are one of the fastest growing telecom operators and are among the top three players in the circle by revenue market share," BJAS Murthy, Operations Director - North and Odisha, Vodafone India said.
"We remain committed to provide the finest technology, innovative product offerings and personalised customer service to enhance customer experience," Murthy told reporters here.

In a short time span, Vodafone has consolidated its position in the circle across relevant industry parameters - network coverage, subscriber base, retail footprint and revenue market share (RMS), Murthy said adding Vodafone is the third largest mobile network operator in the circle by revenue market share (RMS).
Bullish on data, Vodafone is registering growth of 58 per cent Y-O-Y basis data revenues. The company has also embarked on an aggressive campaign to drive mobile Internet adoption among mass educating them about mobile Internet and its benefits, he said.
Vodafone has also partnered with Panchayati Raj Department of Odisha Government to implement the first of its kind, mobile based disbursement of wages to workers under Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA) in Odisha. This pilot project is being implemented in two blocks in Odisha -- Hinjilicut and Chikiti in Ganjam district, he said.
