Telecom major Vodafone continues to aggressively roll out its 4G service in West Bengal despite the negative impact on market by demonetisation.
The distrits where the 4G service was launched in the last fortnight are: Alipurduar, Purulia, Jalpaiguri and Coochbehar.
"Bengal is a strong market for Vodafone having 18 million customers. We are proud to have achieved a great feat of launching our SuperNet 4G services in 4 major cities in a short span allowing us to cover all major towns in the circle," Vodafone India, Business Head-West Bengal Circle, Arvinder Singh Sachdev said.
