Stories of the Greek nymph princess Daphne along with those of an average modern woman was today enacted by children, who aimed to spread awareness about the suffering and discrimination endured by victims of all forms of harassment including sexual, physical and emotional abuse.

Around 30 youngsters from World Vision India put forth the production titled 'Daphne' in association with Blank Delhi Productions here.

Based on the parallel stories of the ancient nymph princess and the modern-age woman, the production combined elements of jazz with contemporary and freestyle western dance.

"I really loved learning so many new forms of dance and practicing hard for the past three months. I hope that people start supporting victims of harassment and take proper action against the perpetrators at the right time before it's too late," says Arti, 18 years, who performed at the musical.

The musical was performed at Epicentre in Gurgaon.
