German auto major Volkswagen, on Saturday, reported a 34 per cent increase in sales in India at 4,792 units in March.
The company had sold 3,570 units in the same month last year.
"This growth is a testimony to the trust and confidence our customers place in key Volkswagen attributes of meticulously engineered vehicles that ensure best-in-class safety, strong build quality and enhanced driving dynamics," Volkswagen Group Sales India MD Thierry Lespiaucq said in a statement.
