The authorities have made all arrangements for voting in 20 Lok Sabha constituencies in Kerla tomorrow where about 2.42 crore electorate are expected to decide the poll fate of 269 candidates.
A tight security cover has been thrown in 21,424 polling booths across the state deploying more than 52,000 police personnel, state's Chief Electoral Officer Nalini Natto told reporters giving detils of the arrangements made for polling.
A total of 2,126 polling booths have been identified as "critical" for which a four-layer security would be provided to ensure trouble-free voting, she said.

The voting process will be webcast live in 189 polling stations and the polling staff have been directed to update the poll percentage to the electoral authorites every two hours.
About 1.5 lakh officials including 10,000 women have been deployed for poll duties.
After the elections, Electornic Voting Machines (EVMs) would be kept at 32 centres across the state under a three-tier security coverage till the counting day on May 16, Natto said.
Besides, 55 companies of central force would be on duty during the elections and the service of six more companies would be sought to guard EVMs after the polling, the CEO said.
