TV-maker VU Technologies is aiming Rs 200 crore turnover this financial year with a three-fold jump in volumes, expecting a good traction from online retail segment.
VU Technologies is betting big on online sales, where it has forged alliances with various channel partners under 'company direct prices' scheme, where give a five per cent cash back offer on purchase.
"We are expecting three-fold rise in sales in this financial year because of the online retail segment. Our revenue base is also expected to double by the end of the financial year," VU Technologies Design Head and CEO Devita Saraf told PTI.

Under the scheme, the company has forged alliances with online retailers such as Amazon, Flipkart, Snapdeal, Homseshop 18 and eBay.
According to Saraf, the company would also expand its presence in the secondary and tertiary markets.
VU Technologies, which also sells customised TV sets is also going to enter into an agreement with eBay to sell their products globally.
"We got very good response for the customised TV sets. Now, we going to expand and sell it globally through eBay. It would start in next 3-4 months," she said.
In the customised TV sets segment, a purchaser is provided several options as operating systems - Windows, Mac, Android and Linux to different kind of frames such as wooden, mirror, decor, etc.
Apart from that, it also provides several configuration options on RAM and Hard Disk Drive.
The company is also looking to expand its network.
"Currently, we are selling through 102 stores of Chroma and have 150 channel partners across the country in a shop-in-shop concept," Saraf added.
The company has three exclusive stores selling VU products, two at Mumbai and one at Delhi.
On being asked that whether it would expand the network of VU exclusive stores, Saraf said the company is planning to open 35-40 small display centres at malls and other places.
Founded in 2006, the company sells TVs ranging from Rs 11,000 to 9 lakh.
