Waiver of road toll extended till Nov 14 in Maharashtra

The Maharashtra government today extended the waiver of toll on state roads and highways till November 14 midnight in view of the withdrawal of Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 currency notes.

An officer in the Chief Minister's office confirmed the development.

After the demonetising of high-denomination notes on November 8, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis had said that all state roads will be toll-tax free until 11th November midnight.
