Arunachal Pradesh Agriculture Minister Kumar Waii has stressed on the need for commercialization of agriculture to uplift rural economy in the state.
Addressing an annual review meeting of the department here yesterday, Waii directed the department to formulate a state specific pilot project for agriculture.
He asked all departmental officials to serve the farming community with dedication and sincerity, an official report said here today.
The two-day annual review meeting is being attended by all district level officers of the department for review of status and progress of centrally sponsored schemes and state plan programmes and to address issues being faced for growth and development of agriculture sector in the state.
