A gangster wanted in several cases of loot and murder was gunned down in a gang war at Shyamla village in Shamli district, police said today.
44-year-old Faizan was shot dead by members of a gang when he was on his way to Shyamla village yesterday, they said.
The body has been sent for postmortem, police said.
