Sandeep, a sharpshooter of Neetu Dabodha gang that is active in the National Capital Region, was arrested for murdering gangster Ajay Kumar on the intervening night of November 25 and 26.

Sandeep has shed light on the killing of a constable by his gang members, police said.

A sophisticated pistol, two magazines and 10 live cartridges were recovered from Sandeep, while a massive manhunt has been launched to nab Neetu Dabodha and Sandeep Chitana.

During interrogation, Sandeep told police that he and his associates Neetu Dabodha and Pradeep hatched a conspiracy to kill Ajay of Neeraj Bawana Gang as he was not working for them.

"As per their plan, Neetu Dabodha and Pradeep abducted Ajay and took him to farms of Tatesar village, where Sandeep and Chitana was already present. They killed Ajay instantly and Sandeep banged three beer bottles on his head," S B S Tyagi, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Crime and Railways, said.

Later, they dumped the body and while going home they were stopped by a police Head Constable Ram Kishan for a routine check.

Neetu Dabodha and his associate Paras had shot the Head Constable dead as he was trying to frisk them physically after stopping their car at Jaunti picket, Sandeep told police during interrogation.

Delhi Police had earlier declared Rs 1 lakh reward for information on Neetu Dabodha and Sandeep Chitana.
