Wardha was the hottest place in Vidarbha at 44.5 degrees Celsius as the region in Maharashtra remained in grip of heat-wave.

Nagpur, the second capital of Maharashtra, recorded a maximum temperature of 43.1.

Following are the maximum temperatures recorded in important places in the region: Akola- 43.1, degree Celsius, Amravati-43.8, Buldana- 40.8, Chandrapur- 42.6, Gondia- 41.1, Nagpur- 43.1, Washim- 41.4 and Yavatmal- 42.2.
