Wardha sizzles at 45.5 degree celsius

Wardha today scorched at 45.5 degree Celsius, the highest this summer in Vidarbha region, which is reeling under intense heat wave conditions.

High temperatures were recorded in other places as well with maximum temperature in Bramhapuri recorded at 44.5 degrees Celsius, Nagpur at 44.2 degrees Celsius, Akola at 43.4 degrees Celsius and Chandrapur at 44 degrees Celsius.

Daytime temperatures in Yavatmal and Washim in the region touched 42.6 and 40 degrees Celsius respectively.
