Warm and sunny day in Delhi

The national capital witnessed a warm and sunny day today as both maximum and minimum temperatures rose considerably to make life tough for Delhiites.

Maximum temperature was recorded at 34.8 degrees Celsius, four degrees above normal for this part of the year.

The minimum temperature also rose to three notches above normal to settle at 19.3 degrees Celsius, an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.

The humidity oscillated between 30 and 85 per cent.

Weatherman has predicted partly cloudy sky with possibility of light rain and thunderstorm in some parts of the city tomorrow.

The maximum and the minimum temperatures are expected to remain at 33 and 19 degrees Celsius respectively.
