The national capital continued to experience an unusually warm spell in winter with mercury remaining above normal levels today.
In addition, the high humidity during the day caused much discomfort to the people in the city who ventured out of their homes without their winter-wear on.
The maximum temperature was recorded two notches above the season's average at 27.5 degrees Celsius while the minimum settled at 10 degrees Celsius, a notch above normal, Met department officials said.

Humidity was recorded between 28 and 88 per cent.
There was shallow fog and slight mist in the morning which soon made for a bright sun.
The MeT department predicted similar conditions for tomorrow.
"There will be mist and shallow fog in the morning. The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to hover around 28 degrees and 10 degrees Celsius, respectively," a MeT official said.
