Oscar-winning actress Cate Blanchett has recalled the first time she ever watched an intimate scene and that too with her parents.
The actress, 45, said she was around eight when she had gone to the cinema with her mother and father to watch the 1976 film "Silver Streak".
"He'd hurt himself and said 'where does it hurt', and he said 'here'. She started to kiss him and I could feel, I thought 'where is this going?," she said.

Adding that she was watching the scene with her mother, she continued, "She started to unbutton his shirt and I could feel my mother's buttocks clenching. 'I thought 'oh I want some of that'."
The "Carol" star is the mother of three biological sons, Dashiell, Roman and Ignatius and adopted baby daughter Edith with her husband Andrew Upton.
