A 50-year-old watchman was battered to death by unidentified persons in Ahiraula area, police said here today.
Data Ram Yadav was murdered while he was returning from duty at Mahul chowki yesterday, Superintendent of Police Ajay Kumar Sahni said.
He said that the body has been sent for post mortem and further investigation is on.
