The water level in the Yamuna river continued to recede and was flowing below the 'warning mark' of 204.50 metres, an official said on Friday.
The Delhi government is monitoring the situation, the official said.
According to the Flood Control Room, Yamuna was flowing at 204.28 metres at 1 pm on Friday.
"The water level of Yamuna is expected to further recede as Haryana has not released water from Hathni Kund barrage in large quantity," the official said.
On Thursday, the river flowed below the 'danger mark' of 205.33 metres.
Yamuna had reached the highest level of 206.60 metres on Wednesday morning and remained at that level for nearly seven hours.
The river started receding from Wednesday afternoon and the water level was at 206.44 metres at 6 pm.
