Water level of Bhakra dam rises

The water level in the Bhakra Dam today recorded 1,614.67 feet as against 1,534.85 feet last year on the same day.

Water level is 79.82 feet more than as it was last year on the same day, an official spokesperson said

The water level of pong Dam has been recorded at 1,326.77 feet, 35.38 feet more than it was recorded last year, he said.

Similarly, the water level of Ranjit Sagar Dam touched 513.01 meter mark, which is 13.54 meter more than the water level recorded last year on the same day.

The inflow of water in Bhakra is 61,078 cusecs as against 30,612 last year and the release from Bhakra Dam is 35,013 cusecs as against 29,517 cusecs last year.
 

Inflow of water in pong Dam has been recorded as 11,490 cusecs as against 3,008 cusecs and release from Pong dam is 10,002 cusecs as against 15,008 cusecs on the same day last year.

Inflow of water in Ranjit Sagar Dam is 11,396 cusecs as against 11,191 cusecs and release from Ranjit Sagar Dam is 11,929 cusecs as against 11,550 cusecs release on the same day last year.
