Water release from Vaigai dam for 4 days from today

: Water will be released from Vaigai dam for four days from today to recharge wells and meet the drinking need of this town, officials said.

They said 1500 cusecs would be released today, followed by 1000 tomorrow and 500 cusecs on Aug 16.
