After chairing a review meeting of horticulture department, Bahuguna told reporters that the authority would promote and ensure effective implementation of rain-harvesting in resorts and other commercial buildings, the maps of which were approved with the system.
In Uttarakhand, 40 percent soil erosion has already taken place and effective implementation of rain-harvesting would also help check the problem, the Chief Minister said.
