Expressing satisfaction at the repair work being done at Milon Mela area by Army, Ghosh said the flood water won't reach Jalpaiguri town.
Accompanied by DGP Naparajit Mukherjee, he later left for Darjeeling Hills.
"We will discuss administrative issues and preparation for Gorkhaland Territorial Administration (GTA) polls with all the parties," the chief secretary said.
