"All I have to say with regard to tackling the Naxalite issue, the state government has done an extraordinary job," the Governor said on the sidelines of a function when asked to comment on Chidambaram's criticism of law and order in the state.
The chief minister, in a strongly-worded letter to the Union Home Minister yesterday, questioned from where he had gathered the information on rising inter-party clashes and claimed that such incidents had considerably declined and the situation in the state was peaceful.
