WB government transfers three district magistrates

In a minor reshuffle, the state government today transferred three district magistrates of Cooch Behar, Murshidabad and Malda districts and appointed new DMs.

According to a senior state government official, Kaushik Saha, the executive director of the West Bengal Industrial Development Corporation Limited (WBIDC) will take charge as the district magistrate of Cooch Behar.

Dr P Ulaganathan, the DM of Cooch Behar will take charge as the DM of Murshidabad.

Sharad Kumar Dwivedi will take charge as the executive director of WBIDC. He was the DM of Murshidabad.

Kaushik Bhattacharya, the additional district magistrate of Hooghly was made the DM of Malda.
 

Tanmay Chakrabarty, the DM of Malda will be the new joint secretary of the tourism department.
