The West Bengal government today announced a 'Chhat Puja' holiday for those hailing from Bihar and Jharkhand.
In a notification, the government announced November 7 as a sectional holiday for its employees hailing from Bihar and Jharkhand.
The holiday will be applicable on all government employees working in state government, local bodies, statutory bodies, boards, corporations owned or controlled by the state government and educational institution.
