A book on the Indian museum in Kolkata was today launched by West Bengal Governor Keshari Nath Tripathi here.
The book has been titled 'Lives of Objects: Stories from the Indian Museum'.
"Indian Museum is now 203 years old. It is the largest museum outside Europe and such work will be helpful for the people," Tripathi said at the launch.
"The book takes people down the memory lane of 200 years of museum and highlights several historical facts in a lucid descriptive way," Centre for Public History Srishti Institute of Arts, Design and Technology Director Indira Chowdhury said.
