Hoping that Christmas will "provide an opportunity to reaffirm our faith in the country's cultural heritage, spirit of friendship and fraternity among all sections of society," West Bengal Governor Keshari Nath Tripathi today wished the people of the state on the eve of Christmas.
In a message from the Governor House, Tripathi said "On the auspicious occasion of Christmas, I convey my heartiest greetings to the people of West Bengal.
"May the ideals of peace, amity and sacrifice prevail. My best wishes for Happy Christmas and for the well being of the people of the state on this occasion," Tripathi said.
