To create public awareness about pollution of environment and waterbody conservation, the West Bengal Pollution Control Board has brought out a book.
Named 'Paribesher Tare Sakale Amra' (we are all for environment), the book comprises rhymes and poems on topical issues like noise pollution, water pollution, waterbody conservation, tree plantation.
"The poems/rhymes in Bengali have been composed in such a manner that the issue is understood by common people," state Environment minister Sovon Chatterjee said after launching the book last evening here.
"We will distribute the book among all state-run, state-aided libraries in districts and despatch to block-panchayat offices and district magistrate offices," the minister said.
