Kerala Women's Commission today said it would probe the circumstances leading to the mother and other family members of a minor girl, who was allegedly raped and killed Kollam recently, being forced out of their home.
The circumstances leading them to leave their home would be probed and a solution found, the commission said in a statement here.
The explanation of police and local people would be taken and all steps would be taken to provide them necessary protection, the commission said.

The even-year-old girl was lured by her aunt's husband to a rubber plantation where she was raped and killed.
The girl's mother, sister and patents alleged that a section of local people abused them, assaulted and drove them out of their home.
Police said they have not yet received any complaints from the family.
