Speaking to reporters here WCD Secretary Prem Narain said that while the Ministry was earlier considering November 14, which is the birth date of the country's first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru, the date was postponed as other functions were to be held on that day.
Incidentally, the new date which the Ministry has chosen now -- November 19 -- happens to be the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. A venue for the launch function is yet to be decided, officials said.
Officials said that the project had completed its production stage and they expected actor Aamir Khan to be also present at the launch.
Apart from the audio visual element, the government's campaign against malnutrition would also be reach the people through the print media and SMSes on mobile phones, officials said.
