WDM witnesses trade worth Rs 1,816 cr on NSE

The wholesale debt market segment of the National Stock Exchange today witnessed a total turnover of Rs 1,816.40 crore in 62 trades.

Top securities (non-repo) traded at the WDM were:

The 91-days Treasury Bills (Issue No:080916), traded at Rs 500.00 crore at weighted yield of 6.70 per cent, the 8.07 per cent government securities maturing in CG2017A traded value at Rs 250 crore at weighted yield of 6.97 per cent and the 364-days Treasury Bills (Issue No:220617), traded at Rs 240.00 crore at weighted yield of 6.87 per cent

During the trading week ended today, total turnover was Rs 11,190.10 crore and the total number of trades was 447.
 

The highest volume amount of trade during the week was at Rs 3,494.91 crore as on June 21 while the lowest was Rs 894.09 crore as on June 20.

This week, the weighted yield on government securities with a maturity period of 0-3 years, 3-7 years, 7-10 years and more than 10 years was quoted at 7.09 per cent, 7.41 per cent, 7.55 per cent and 7.80 per cent, respectively.

The weighted yields on treasury bills maturing within 0-90 days, 91-182 days and 183-365 days was 6.69 per cent, 6.76 per cent and 6.85 per cent, respectively.

During the week, the cumulative value of government securities, treasury bills and state government securities trading on the WDM was Rs 8,451.35 crore, representing 75.53 per cent of the total traded value respectively,

Trading in non-government securities was at Rs2,738.75 crore, representing 24.47 per cent, an NSE release said.
