WDM witnesses trade worth Rs 1,965.40 on NSE

Wholesale debt market segment of the National Stock Exchange today witnessed a total turnover of Rs 1,965.40 crore in 69 trades.

Top securities (non-repo) traded at the WDM were:

The 7.59 per cent government securities maturing in CG2029 traded value at Rs 200.00 crore at weighted yield of 7.54 per cent, the 7.59 per cent government securities maturing in CG2026 traded value at Rs 150.00 crore at weighted yield of 6.84 per cent and 7.16 per cent government securities maturing in CG2023 traded value at Rs 130.00 crore at weighted yield of 7.42 per cent.

During the trading week ended today, total turnover was Rs 10,701.05 crore and the total number of trades was 310.
 

The highest volume amount of trade during the week was at Rs 3,658.79 crore as on Jul 5, while the lowest was Rs 1,965.40 crore as on today.

This week, the weighted yield on government securities with a maturity period of 0-3 years, 3-7 years, 7-10 years and more than 10 years was quoted at 6.98 per cent, 7.279 per cent, 7.36 per cent and 7.61 per cent, respectively.

The weighted yields on treasury bills maturing within 0-90 days, 91-182 days and 183-365 days was 6.65 per cent, 6.69 per cent and 6.78 per cent, respectively.

During the week, the cumulative value of government securities, treasury bills and state government securities trading on the WDM was Rs 7,544.94 crore, representing 70.51 per cent of the total traded value respectively,

Trading in non-government securities was at Rs 3,156.11 crore, representing 29.49 per cent, an NSE release said.
