The Wholesale Debt Market segment of the National Stock Exchange today witnessed a total turnover of Rs 2,278.29 crore in 61 trades.

The 8.60 per cent government securities maturing in CG2028 traded value at Rs.305.00 crore at weighted yield the 8.02 per cent, 7.88 per cent government securities maturing in CG2030 traded value at Rs.150.00 crore at weighted yield the 8.07 per cent and the 364-days treasury bills(issue no.040216) traded value at Rs.135.00 crore at weighted yield of 7.46 per cent.

During the trading week ended today, the total turnover was Rs 6,771.95 crore, The total number of trades was 210.
The highest volume amount of trade during the week was at Rs 2,557.84 crore as on Aug 20, while the lowest volume amount Rs 634.63 crore as on Aug 17.
This week, the weighted yield on government securities with a maturity period of 0-3 years, 3-7 years, 7-10 years and more than 10 years was quoted at 7.78 per cent, 7.92 per cent, 7.80 per cent and 8.02 per cent, respectively.
The weighted yields on treasury bills maturing within 90 days was 7.38 per cent, it was 7.43 per cent for bills of 91-182 days tenure, and 7.51 per cent for bills of 183-365 days' tenure.
During the week, the cumulative value of government securities, treasury bills and state government securities trading on the WDM was Rs 4,602.15 crore, trading in Non Government securities was at Rs 2,169.80 crore, representing 67.96 per cent and 32.04 per cent of the total traded value, respectively, the NSE release said.
