WDM witnesses trade worth Rs 2,608.68 cr on NSE

Wholesale debt market segment of the National Stock Exchange today witnessed a total turnover of Rs 2,608.68 crore in 60 trades.

Top securities (non-repo) traded at the WDM were:

The 7.59 per cent government securities maturing in CG2026 traded value at Rs 400.00 crore at weighted yield of 6.90 per cent, the 7.16 per cent government securities maturing in CG2023 traded value at Rs 280.00 crore at weighted yield of 6.87 per cent and the 6.97 per cent government securities maturing in CG2026 traded at Rs 200.00 crore at weighted yield of 6.80 per cent.

During the trading week ended today, total turnover was Rs 11,087.81 crore and the total number of trades was 273.
 

The highest trade volume during the week was at Rs 3,314.60 crore on Oct 26, while the lowest was Rs 1,465.23 crore on Oct 27.

This week, the weighted yield on government securities with a maturity period of 0-3 years, 3-7 years, 7-10 years and more than 10 years quoted at 6.54 per cent, 6.77 per cent, 6.86 per cent and 7.12 per cent, respectively.

The weighted yields on treasury bills maturing for 0-90-days, 91-182 days and 183-365 days was 6.38 per cent, 6.38 per cent and 6.41 per cent.

During the week, the cumulative value of government securities, treasury bills and state government securities trading on WDM was Rs 8,718.68 crore, representing 78.63 per cent of the total traded value.

Trading in non-government securities was at Rs 2,369.13 crore, representing 21.37 per cent, an NSE release said.
