Wholesale debt market segment of the National Stock Exchange today witnessed a total turnover of Rs 2,989.13 crore in 69 trades.

The 6.35 per cent government securities maturing in CG2020 traded value at Rs 430.00 crore at weighted yield of 6.96 per cent, 6.90 per cent government securities maturing in CG2019 traded value at Rs 280.00 crore at weighted yield of 6.95 per cent, and the 7.59 per cent government securities maturing in CG2026 traded value at Rs 250.00 crore at weighted yield of 7.12 per cent.

During the trading week ended today, total turnover was Rs 8,491.97 crore and the total number of trades was 193.
The highest trade volume during the week was at Rs 2,989.13 crore as on today, while the lowest was Rs 2,676.50 crore as on Aug 18.
This week, the weighted yield on government securities with a maturity period of 0-3 years, 3-7 years, 7-10 years and more than 10 years was quoted at 6.82 per cent, 7.03 per cent, 7.12 per cent and 7.20 per cent, respectively.
The weighted yields on treasury bills maturing within 0-90 days and 183-365 days was 6.55 per cent and 6.54 per cent, respectively.
During the week, the cumulative value of government securities, treasury bills and state government securities trading on the WDM was Rs 6,245.27 crore, representing 73.54 per cent of the total traded value respectively,
Trading in non-government securities was at Rs 2,246.70 crore, representing 26.46 per cent, an NSE release said.
