WDM witnesses trade worth Rs 3,094.83 cr on NSE

Wholesale debt market segment of the National Stock Exchange today witnessed a total turnover of Rs 3,094.83 crore in 70 trades.

Top securities (non-repo) traded at the WDM were:

The 7.59 per cent government securities maturing in CG2026 traded value at Rs 575 crore at weighted yield of 6.96 per cent, the 182-days Treasury Bills (No:090317) traded at Rs 399.80 crore at weighted yield of 6.57 per cent and the 7.28 per cent government securities maturing in CG2019 traded at Rs 215 crore at weighted yield of 6.74 per cent.

During the trading week ended today, total turnover was Rs 14,961.64 crore and the total number of trades was 396.
 

The highest trade volume during the week was at Rs 3,500.38 crore as on Sept 20, while the lowest was Rs 2,542.50 crore as on September 19.

This week, the weighted yield on government securities with a maturity period of 0-3 years, 3-7 years, 7-10 years and more than 10 years quoted at 6.76 per cent, 6.92 per cent, 7.02 per cent and 7.17 per cent, respectively.

The weighted yields on treasury bills maturing within 0-90 days, 91-182 days and 183-365 days were 6.52 per cent, 6.54 per cent and 6.60 per cent, respectively.

During the week, the cumulative value of government securities, treasury bills and state government securities trading on WDM was Rs 10,571.24 crore, representing 70.66 per cent of the total traded value.

Trading in non-government securities was at Rs 4,390.40 crore, representing 29.34 per cent, an NSE release said.
