Wholesale debt market segment of the National Stock Exchange today witnessed a total turnover of Rs 3,157.8 crore in 72 trades.

The 7.59 per cent government securities maturing in CG2026 traded value at Rs 450 crore at weighted yield of 7.05 per cent, the 7.59 per cent government securities maturing in CG2029 traded value at Rs 350 crore at weighted yield of 7.11 per cent and the 8.26 per cent government securities maturing in CG2027 traded at Rs 200 crore at weighted yield of 7.18 per cent.

During the trading week ended today, total turnover was Rs 12,300.04 crore and the total number of trades was 309.
The highest trade volume during the week was at Rs 3,626.40 crore as on September 8 while the lowest was Rs 2,295 crore as on September 6.
This week, the weighted yield on government securities with a maturity period of 0-3 years, 3-7 years, 7-10 years and more than 10 years was quoted at 6.79 per cent, 6.92 per cent, 7.06 per cent and 7.15 per cent, respectively.
The weighted yields on treasury bills maturing within 0-90 days, 91-182 days and 183-365 days were 6.51 per cent, 6.55 per cent and 6.65 per cent, respectively.
During the week, the cumulative value of government securities, treasury bills and state government securities trading on WDM was Rs 8,582.14 crore, representing 69.77 per cent of the total traded value.
Trading in non-government securities was at Rs 3,717.90 crore, representing 30.23 per cent, an NSE release said.
