WDM witnesses trade worth Rs 3,205.35 cr on NSE

The Wholesale Debt Market segment of the National Stock Exchange today witnessed a total turnover of Rs 3,205.35 crore in 69 trades.

Top securities (non-repo) traded at the WDM were:

The 8.40 per cent government securities maturing in CG2024 traded at Rs 375.00 crore at weighted yield of 8.50 per cent, the 8.60 per cent government securities maturing in CG2028 traded at Rs 310.00 crore at weighted yield of 8.65 per cent and the 182-days Treasury bills (issue no.181214) traded at Rs 350.00 crore at weighted yield of 8.60 per cent, the NSE release said.

During the week ended today, the total turnover was Rs 15,562.32 crore and the total number of trades during the week was at 343.
 

The highest volume amount of trade during the week was Rs 4,423.71 crore on Sep 11, while the lowest volume amount was Rs 2,503.05 crore as on September 8, 2014.

This week, the weighted yield on government securities with a maturity period of 0-3 years, 3-7 years, 7-10 years and more than 10 years was quoted at 8.63 per cent, 8.66 per cent, 8.62 per cent and 8.70 per cent, respectively.

The weighted yields on treasury bills maturing within 90 days was 8.48 per cent, it was 8.62 per cent for bills of 91- 182 days tenure, and 8.66 per cent for bills of 183-365 days tenure.

During the week, the cumulative value of government securities, treasury bills and state government securities trading on the WDM was Rs 11,069.17 crore trading in Non-Government securities was at Rs 4,493.15 crore, representing 71.13 per cent and 28.87 per cent of the total traded value respectively, the NSE release said.
