WDM witnesses trade worth Rs 3,329.11 cr on NSE

The wholesale debt market segment of the National Stock Exchange today witnessed a total turnover of Rs 3,329.11 crore in 70 trades.

The 7.88 per cent government securities maturing in CG2030 traded value at Rs 450.00 crore at weighted yield of 7.77 per cent, the 364-days Treasury Bills (Issue No:020317), traded at Rs 440.00 crore at weighted yield of 7.91 per cent and 364-days Treasury Bills (Issue No:081216), traded at Rs 440.00 crore at weighted yield of 7.91 per cent.

During the trading week ended today, total turnover was Rs 12,861.50 crore and the total number of trades was 310.
 

The highest volume amount of trade during the week was at Rs 3,329.11 crore as on today, while the lowest volume amount was Rs 1,517.94 crore as on May 16.

This week, the weighted yield on government securities with a maturity period of 0-3 years, 3-7 years, 7-10 years and more than 10 years was quoted at 7.12 per cent, 7.66 per cent, 7.47 per cent and 7.76 per cent, respectively.

The weighted yields on treasury bills maturing within 90 days was 6.76 per cent, 91-182 days was 6.82 per cent and 7.89 per cent for bills of 183-365 days.

Trading in non-government securities was at Rs 1,988.05 crore, representing 15.46 per cent.

During the week, the cumulative value of government securities, treasury bills and state government securities trading on the WDM was Rs 1,0873.45 crore, representing 84.54 per cent of the total traded value respectively, an NSE release said.
