WDM witnesses trade worth Rs 3,522.87 cr on NSE

The wholesale debt market segment of the National Stock Exchange today witnessed a total turnover of Rs 3,522.87 crore in 89 trades.

Top securities (non-repo) traded at the WDM were:

The 7.88 per cent government securities maturing in CG2030 traded value at Rs 550.00 crore at weighted yield of 7.76 per cent, the 8.33 per cent government securities maturing in CG2036 traded value at Rs 300.00 crore at weighted yield of 7.83 per cent and the 8.27 per cent government securities maturing in CG2020 traded value at Rs 200 crore at weighted yield of 7.38 per cent

During the trading week ended today, total turnover was Rs 14,726.22 crore and the total number of trades was 334.
 

The highest volume amount of trade during the week was at Rs 3,522.87 crore as on today, while the lowest volume amount was Rs 1,999.30 crore today.

This week, the weighted yield on government securities with a maturity period of 0-3 years, 3-7 years, 7-10 years and more than 10 years was quoted at 7.10 per cent, 7.43 per cent, 7.55 per cent and 7.89 per cent, respectively.

The weighted yields on treasury bills maturing within 90 days was 6.78 per cent, it was 7.35 per cent for bills of 183-365 days.

Trading in non-government securities was at Rs 2,724.37 crore, representing 18.50 per cent and 81.50 During the week, the cumulative value of government securities, treasury bills and state government securities trading on the WDM was Rs 12,001.85 crore. Per cent of the total traded value respectively, an NSE release said.
