WDM witnesses trade worth Rs 4,052.60 cr on NSE

The Wholesale Debt Market segment of the National Stock Exchange today witnessed a total turnover of Rs 4,052.60 crore in 94 trades.
 
Top securities (non-repo) traded at the WDM were:
 
The 7.28% government securities maturing in CG2019 traded at Rs 876.00 crore at weighted yield of 8.63%, the 8.83% government securities maturing in CG2023 traded at Rs 424.50 crore at weighted yield of 8.59% and the 91-days Treasury bills (issue no.220214), which traded at Rs 320.00 crore at weighted yield of 8.35%.
 
During the week ended today, the total turnover was Rs 20,231.29 crore and the total number of trades during the week was at 408.
 
 
The highest volume amount of trade during the week was at Rs 6,916.29 crore as on January 13, while the lowest volume amount Rs 3,314.91 crore as on January 15.
 
This week, the weighted yield on government securities with a maturity period of 0-3 years, 3-7 years, 7-10 years and more than 10 years was quoted at 8.64%, 8.69%, 8.68% and 8.97%, respectively.
 
The weighted yields on treasury bills maturing within 90 days was 8.39%, it was 8.67% for bills of 91-182 days tenure, and 8.60% for bills of 183-365 days' tenure.
 
During the week, the cumulative value of government securities, treasury bills and state government securities trading on the WDM was Rs 17,068.13 crore, trading in Non- Government securities was at Rs 3,163.16 crore, representing 84.37% and 15.63% of the total traded value, respectively, the NSE release said.
