The Wholesale Debt Market segment of the National Stock Exchange today witnessed a total turnover of Rs 4,167.42 crore in 69 trades.

The 8.35 per cent government securities maturing in CG2022 traded at Rs 865.00 crore at weighted yield of 9.16 per cent and the 8.07 per cent government securities maturing in CG2017A traded at Rs 705.00 crore at weighted yield of 8.68 per cent and the 8.83 per cent government securities maturing in CG2023 traded at Rs 485.00 crore at weighted yield of 8.97 per cent.

During the week ended today, the total turnover was Rs 9,289.60 crore and the total number of trades during the week was at 197.
The highest volume amount of trade during the week was at Rs 4,167.42 crore on today, while the lowest volume amount Rs 2,079.90 crore as on April 15.
This week, the weighted yield on government securities with a maturity period of 0-3 years, 3-7 years, 7-10 years and more than 10 years was quoted at 8.56 per cent, 8.77 per cent, 9.03 per cent and 9.31 per cent, respectively.
The weighted yields on treasury bills maturing within 90 days was 8.65 per cent, it was 8.80 per cent for bills of 91-182 days tenure, and 8.91 per cent for bills of 183-365 days' tenure.
During the week, the cumulative value of government securities, treasury bills and state government securities trading on the WDM was Rs 7,467.60 crore, trading in Non- Government securities was at Rs 1,822.00 crore, representing 80.39 per cent and 19.61 per cent of the total traded value, respectively, the NSE release said.
