WDM witnesses trade worth Rs 4,257.55 cr on NSE

The Wholesale Debt Market segment of the National Stock Exchange today witnessed a total turnover of Rs 4,257.55 crore in 90 trades.

Top securities (non-repo) traded at the WDM were:

The 8.27 per cent government securities maturing in CG2020 traded value at Rs 795 crore at weighted yield of 7.64 per cent, the 7.72 per cent government securities maturing in CG2025 traded value at Rs.400 crore at weighted yield of 7.56 per cent and the 7.49 per cent government securities maturing in CG2017 traded value at Rs.325 crore at weighted yield of 7.42 per cent.

During the trading week ended today, the total turnover was Rs 18,618.52 crore and the total number of trades was 410.
 

The highest volume amount of trade during the week was at Rs 5,056.83 crore as on October 14, while the lowest volume amount was Rs 1,754.67 crore as on October 12.

This week, the weighted yield on government securities with a maturity period of 0-3 years, 3-7 years, 7-10 years and more than 10 years was quoted at 7.35 per cent, 7.64 per cent, 7.61 per cent and 7.78 per cent, respectively.

The weighted yields on treasury bills maturing within 90 days was 6.98 per cent, it was 7.05 per cent for bills of 91-182 days tenure, and 7.12 per cent for bills of 183-365 days' tenure.

During the week, the cumulative value of government securities, treasury bills and state government securities trading on the WDM was Rs 14,768.87 crore. Trading in Non Government securities was at Rs 3,849.65 crore, representing 79.32 per cent and 20.68 per cent of the total traded value, respectively, the NSE release said.
