Wholesale debt market segment of the National Stock Exchange today witnessed a total turnover of Rs 4,310.63 crore in 107 trades.

The 7.59 per cent government securities maturing in CG2026 traded value at Rs 873 crore at weighted yield of 7.06 per cent, the 8.30 per cent government securities maturing in CG2042 traded value at Rs 260 crore at weighted yield of 7.26 per cent and the 8.17 per cent government securities maturing in CG2044 traded at Rs 260 crore at weighted yield of 7.24 per cent.

The highest trade volume during the week was at Rs 4,310.63 crore as on today while the lowest was Rs 1,608.34 crore as on September 12.
This week, the weighted yield on government securities with a maturity period of 0-3 years, 3-7 years, 7-10 years and more than 10 years quoted at 6.79 per cent, 6.92 per cent, 7.08 per cent and 7.17 per cent, respectively.
The weighted yields on treasury bills maturing within 0-90 days, 91-182 days and 183-365 days were 6.50 per cent, 6.58 per cent and 5.80 per cent, respectively.
During the week, the cumulative value of government securities, treasury bills and state government securities trading on WDM was Rs 9,283.77 crore, representing 72.54 per cent of the total traded value.
Trading in non-government securities was at Rs 3,514.10 crore, representing 27.45 per cent, an NSE release said.
